1. a kick in the pants  Phrase

something that makes you improve your behavior

Ex: He needs a good kick in the pants.

2. innovation  Noun

 a new idea, method, or invention

Ex: Innovation and hard work are the cornerstones of the company.

3. gadget Noun

a small device or machine with a particular purpose

Ex: This handy gadget separates egg yolks from whites.

4. tout Verb

to praise something or someone in order to persuade people that they are important or worth a lot

Ex: He is being widely touted as the next leader of the party.

5. embedded Adj.

fixed into the surface of something

Ex: The thorn was embeddeb in her thumb.

6. drum up something Phrase

to encourage the development of something
Ex: I'm making calls to drum up some business.
